Lava Stream
Moonlight on Clear Creek Canyon and snaking car lights. I took this image from Chimney Gulch Trail on Lookout Mountain on a very chilly february evening. The moonlight is providing the warm light you see on the hills and the long exposure of 30 seconds created the smear of the cars' tail lights.

Solitude
On a middle March hike on North Table Mountain during the early stages of Covid closures I encountered this bush battered by icy and snowy winds. The isolation of the bush is exactly how I felt and I thought this image really exemplifies the feeling of isolation I felt at the time. Now we are almost a year further and are still as isolated as then.

Last glow
There is a lookout point in White Ranch open space park where you get a beautiful view of Longs Peak. This is about as close as I got to Longs Peak all year with RMNP being closed a large part of the year and the park being incredibly crowded when it wasn't. I was virtually alone in the open space park on this beautiful evening
